Darbas of Bhera. BHERA – MIRAN DE NAGRI Hazrat Miran Shah Sahib (died in AD1681 – 1092 Hijri in Bhera)

Hazrat Miran Shah Sahib was a selfless saint who worked for the spread of Islam peacefully and with love , particularly in Bhera . His shrine is located in the western part of the town in mohalla Pirachgan . People from different sects and places visit his shrine through out the year , specifically in the month of March / April ( Chaitira ) to pay homage to the saint. Because of him Bhera is also known as Miran – de – Nagri . He was born in the late 16th century or early 17th century. His exact date of birth is not known . However , he died in AD 168I ( 1092 Hijri) in Bhera , it was the era of Mughal emperor Aurangzeb . Miran Sahib was also present at the time of Emperor Jahangir and Shah Jahan . The reign of Emperor Jahangir was from AD1605 to 1627 , Emperor Shah Jahan from AD 1627 to 1658 and Emperor Aurangzeb from AD 1658 to 1707 .
