Abandoned Shiva Temple and its Faded Fresco Paintings near Kashmiri Gate (Chitti Pully Darwaz), Bhera – 1865

This abandoned Shiva Temple, located near Kashmiri Gate (locally known as Chitti Pully Darwaz) in the historic town of Bhera, still preserves faint traces of its once-beautiful fresco paintings. Though weathered by time and neglect, these surviving murals stand as silent witnesses to Bhera’s rich artistic, architectural, and multicultural heritage.

These fading frescoes are a priceless legacy and deserve to be preserved for future generations.
