0ne of the last block print makers of Bhera is Haji Nizam ud Din, son of Jamal ud Din. He is facing hard times to keep this art alive and earn his livelihood . He is a man with self – esteem and ego, wants to work till the time health permits him. At present he is around 80 .He doesn’t want any financial assistance , but availability of material ( sulphur, local calls it patas) for making the block printing inks . He has plenty of expensive wooden printing blocks and cloth used for printing. There are being wasted, due to non – the availability of sulphur.
