I was shocked and hurt to learn about the sad demise of Headmaster Ali Hassan Sahib on 21 Jun 2024 in Bhera. May Allah Almighty bless his soul and give strength to the family and friends to bear this irreplaceable loss! Ameen.
Ali Hassan Sahib was a knowledgeable, outstanding teacher, orator, and writer. Although he migrated in 1947 from India, he had a command of the cultural heritage and history of Bhera. Whenever I wanted to know anything about Bhera, I referred to him, and he genuinely helped me out.
Ali Sahib was an intimate friend of mine. He has made a significant contribution to the making of the website, bhera.org. He has written and read several articles on Bhera. All of these have been uploaded on YouTube, on the website by Sheikh Mustafa Mumtaz. His name will live forever, particularly in Bhera because of his contribution.
