Gates of Bhera. Haji Gulab Darwaza ( 1865) , mohalla Haji Gulab , Bhera , district Sargodha , Pakistan.
Haji Gulab darwaza is one of the nine darwazas of Bhera which has completely vanished. No remnants of it are left. Only the location can be identified where it once existed . It was located at the entrance of mohalla Haji Gulab from the Circular Road , as pointed out with the the red dot on the map. It is not confirmed when it was completely demolished . The picture shows its area has been encroached and construction carried out. Municipal Committee, Bhera must have the complete record of the area of the darwaza .
The local administration of Bhera is requested to place a board indicating the site of Haji Gulab darwaza , so that it is not completely faded away from the minds of the people of Bhera. It is hoped that when Mr Kamran Lashari and his team start work on the Bhera Walled City Project , this darwaza will be reconstructed in its original condition. Maybe someone in Bhera has an old picture of this darwaza : he may share . Just to know how it looked like in the past .
