Molvi Muhammad Dil Pazeer ( Circa :  1865 – 1945) , a famous Punjabi poet of his time, wrote a Marsia on the death of Khawaja Mohkum Din ( 1919) , in Bhera . Read by Mr Tufail Ahmed Piracha.

Dil Pazeer has written extensively in Punjabi on a variety of subjects : authored more than 200 books, including translation of Quran Majeed in Punjabi and _Safarnama_ (travelogue) of Haj , comprising more than 500 pages .

Surprisely, not much has been written about this eminent 19th and  20th – century Punjabi poet from Bhera. I have requested Sahibzada Abrar Ahmed Bugvi, Kateeb – e – Alla, Sher Shah Suri Jama Mosque ( AD 1541), Bhera and Dr Bilal Sohail , from Bhera to write about him. A few students of Punjabi language may write a thesis on him.

The Marsia read by Tufail Piracha was written by Dil Pazeer on the death of Khawaja Mohkum Din in 1919. Mohkum Din, from mohalla Sheikhanwala, was grandfather of Khawaja Bashir Ahmed ( 1Oct 1921- 12 Jun 2020 ), son of Khawaja Rashid Ahmed.
