Twelve members of the Asian Study Group ( ASG) visited the historic town of Bhera on 23 September 2023. During the visit, they saw the Sher Shah Suri Jama Mosque, Bhera ( 1540 AD), Esa House ( 1931), Darbar Hazrat Miran Shah Sahib ( 1681 AD, 1092 Higri), centuries-old Boliwala temple close to the left bank Jhelum River. They purchased the specialities of Bhera from the bazaar inside Chakwala Darwaza ( Chinoti Gate – 1865). The group also met the Assistant Commission Bhera, Mr Hakim Khan, in his office. Members of ASG were well briefed and guided by Sahibzada Abrar Ahmed Bugvi, Hafiz Irfan (Mani ) , the photographer, and Nayyar Abbas.
