Mohalla Gossaaiaanwala (Now Ansarianwala) – Bhera, District Sargodha

Mohalla Gossaaiaanwala ( Ansarianwala ) is a middle size mohalla of  Bhera . Located in almost the centre of the walled town Bhera,  having nine  gates ( presently, three are not existing ). In the north of Ansarianwala is Sheikhanwala Bazaar , mohalla Phakhiwaranala ( now  Awanawala) and  Masjid Mohajireen . In the west mohalla  Chopara Mandi , in the  south mohalla Sipranwala and in the east , mohalla Vigianwala.  

Primarily the aim of sharing   old pictures of Bhera  is that  the coming generations and the youngsters who did not grow up there  or who were  not old enough to remember it  , may know what  Bhera was  and how it looked like .

 On a picture of mohalla Gossaahiaanwala (Ansarianwala), it is written 1935 and Samat 1992 . The following is for information of those who may not know the difference   between the Christian calendar and Hindi calandar :

The Hindi calendar is called Vikram Samvat in Sanskrit and Bikarmi Samat in the Punjabi . It starts in the middle of March . The difference between the number of years  between Gregorian / Christian calender and the Hindi calender – Bikarmi Samat is approximately 57 years .  So , at present, it is 2024 and Bikarmi Samat 2081.
