Mohalla Hakimawala, Bhera ,District Sargodha

Mohalla Hakimaka is a small mohalla, located inside the Walled City of Bhera with eight gates. The general alignment of the wall was the present-day Circular Road.

In the north of Hakimawala is Mohalla Muftianwala, Qazianwala ( one of the oldest mohallas of Bhera) , and the road coming from Ganjwala Dawaza ( Lahori Gate – 1865) to Imam Kote ( old Gurdwara ). In the west is Chakwala bazaar, in the south mohalla Kachaweara and Khawajgan ( one of the biggest mohallas of Bhera), and in the east also Khawajgan.

Presently, Mohalla Hakimawala is in pretty bad shape. Most of its buildings have crumbled down or have been demolished. A few have been reconstructed/renovated, but no match to the original ones.
A few pictures of Mohalla Hakimawala are shared. Maybe of interest to some.
